Plot summary
A sailboat crash leaves a group of friends stranded on an uncharted island. Liz, Peter, Jake, Lauren and Myra are among them. They quickly come to understand that they are not alone. Ancient humanoid creatures live in the jungle, cannibalistic and resembling something between a human and a baboon. The pack hunts the friends through the jungle, taking them one at a time.

- After finishing the film then titled The Tribe, its production crew decided it did not live up to their expectations and would not do well. They remade it with a new director, script and cast as The Lost Tribe, which Image Entertainment released straight to DVD in 2010.
