Plot summary
Aaron Hammond is a law school graduate with rent he cannot pay. After his father dies, he travels back to his rural hometown, where his mother, Kate, is grieving, and the visit brings back the unresolved tension between them. Aaron sorts through his father's belongings and finds an antique urn that his father, a collector of old artifacts, had recently obtained. Aaron puts the urn up for sale online for three thousand dollars, money that would cover the rent he owes. His best friend Jeremy comes over, and the two of them get high before they head to a local diner.
