Plot summary
Sidney L. Pythias works as a janitor and is arrested after a mistaken identity puts him alongside three delinquents, Artie, Monk and Harry. Police officer Mike Damon takes an interest in him, believing a wayward youth can still be saved, just as another officer once helped Damon. Captain Riley gives Damon a month to put Sidney on the right path, and socialite Martha Henshaw must be allowed to help. Sidney's private goal is to join the police force. He also hopes to win the attention of Patricia, a student nurse in his building, by proving he can make something of himself. Damon and Martha clash as they work with Sidney.
