Plot summary
Deep in a magical forest, a boy called Courge is raised by his father, also named Courge, a giant who will not let him explore the outside world. The forest is haunted by spirits, and they are his only companions. He fears his father and admires him at the same time, and the village beyond the trees stays unknown to him. One day he is forced to go there, and he meets a young girl, Manon, who shows him that love exists. From then on his search for the spot where his father's love for him lies hidden does not end.
