Plot summary
A web cast goes out live on Halloween, and the viewers who tune in are watching a real survival game. A group that calls itself The Dark Military has drawn in young people who did not know what they were signing up for, and the hunt is shown over the internet. The young adults are left without weapons to defend themselves, and their technology is stripped away so that any rescue team will be slower to reach them. Officials know they have a short window to work out where the broadcast is coming from, while the world watches along with them.
