Plot summary
Lily Schechner and her therapist mother Helen move into the home of Helen's boyfriend Adam Harrison, where Adam's three sons, Jacob, Isaiah and Abe, live. At her new high school Lily is mocked by classmates, and when Timmy Andrews taunts her she telekinetically throws him into the lockers. Three girls, Frankie, Tabby and Lourdes, notice and reach her with their minds. They are witches who need a fourth member for a ritual, so they ask Lily to join their coven. The four of them freeze time during a conjuring spell, then keep testing their powers together. After word of the school incident reaches Adam, he scolds Lily and Helen defends her.
