Now Hiring (2014) on Netflix

Plot summary

Sarah tells her unemployed husband, Joe Martin, to talk up his experience, and his answer to a classified ad for superheroes is a bluff. He assumed the position meant dressing up at children's parties. Instead he lands a place on a team of heroes whose members fight real crime, and he has no powers of his own. Finding a place among the other heroes, and keeping things steady at home with Sarah, is harder than he expected. Then Lord Menace turns on the city, and Sarah is in danger as well, and Joe has nothing but himself to face it with.
