Plot summary
In the early hours of the morning in St. Louis, an experiment at a particle accelerator facility goes wrong, and a blast is felt across the city. A black hole begins to form, and a creature comes out of it, seeking energy and taking it wherever it finds it. Dr. Eric Bryce, a nuclear physicist, and Dr. Shannon Muir are among the scientists sent to look into the accident, and the team clashes with the creature. The hole it came through stays open and widens as the creature absorbs energy.
