Plot summary
John McCormack is looking for a serial killer, and he does not mean to turn the man in to the police. What he wants from him is instruction in the trade. Eugene Van Wingerdt, a barber in that town who is liked by his neighbors, keeps a secret of his own. The two men form a bond, and Eugene shows John how a killing is carried out.
