Plot summary
Fionnán is a self-confessed metrosexual with no appetite for a stag weekend. He would happily attend the hen instead. His bride-to-be, Ruth, concerned, presses the marginally more macho best man, Davin, to organize one. Davin reluctantly agrees and settles on a sober walking weekend, camping with friends in the western wilderness of Ireland, while doing everything he can to keep Ruth's wildly infamous brother, The Machine, off the trip. The Machine is not so easily fixed and tracks the group down, and under his leadership the modern men, stripped of comfort and convenience, begin a journey into the wild.
