Plot summary
Vera, Ray and Sam are a family whose house is haunted by more than ghosts. To anyone outside, the three of them look like an ordinary family. A leak in the kitchen keeps returning, a painting Vera puts away in the attic reappears on the wall, and doors will not open. Their young son Sam has ghostly visions of his own. Vera and Ray are protecting the boy from a dark secret, and the lingering horror of their past is straining their life together. When a mystical encounter opens their eyes, they are thrust into a horror worse than anything they have experienced. Demons manifest inside the family and pull it apart.
