Plot summary
A meteor crashes into a houseboat in the swamps outside a Southern town. The people on board become zombies. They feed on the alligators in the swamp, and once the alligators are gone, they turn on the citizens. Residents begin to disappear. A local scientist tries to understand what is happening to the missing people. The movie was made in Florida for $12,000. It was first filmed under the title It Fell from the Sky, from a script originally called Swamp of the Blood Leeches. The makers could not afford leech costumes, so they rewrote the script into a zombie story.
