Plot summary
Adam has stayed away from sex for five years in New York, and Mike, a married group leader who is also in recovery, sponsors him. Neil, a doctor ordered into the meetings after a conviction for rubbing against people in public, asks Adam to take him on, and keeps bothering women at his work and on the subway. At a party Adam meets Phoebe, whose former partner was an alcoholic. She has no interest in dating anyone with an addiction, so Adam keeps quiet about his own recovery. Mike's son Danny, a drug addict eight months clean, comes home to make amends.
