Pink
Biography
Pink is a singer and songwriter from the United States who became known for an acrobatic style of live performance, and her screen work has developed alongside her music. Born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, she formed the short-lived R&B group Choice as a teenager and later signed with LaFace Records; her 2000 debut album, Can't Take Me Home, made her a pop name, and Missundaztood (2001) shifted her toward pop rock. Her recordings have earned three Grammy Awards. On screen she voiced Gloria in Happy Feet Two (2011) and sang its theme, and she took a dramatic role as a sex addict in Thanks for Sharing (2012) that drew praise from critics. She also appeared in the documentary The People Speak (2009), and a London show from her I'm Not Dead Tour was released on DVD.
