Plot summary
Amber rules her high school as the popular senior everyone notices, until the night of the prom crowning leaves her dead. Limbo is where an angel hands her one week to turn Lisa Sommers, the school's least popular student, into the next Prom Queen. Success sends her to Heaven; failure books her a seat to Hell. Back at school as a ghost, Amber finds her old friends unmoved by her death and learns that Lisa alone can see her. Lisa wants nothing to do with the prom until Amber puts her in front of Nick Ramsey, the boy Lisa likes, and talks her into a day of shopping and a makeover.
