Plot summary
A circle of young friends and their families take their summer vacations at Forte dei Marmi, on the Tuscan coast, in the Sixties. One of the young men has a girlfriend who is in love with another man. His brother is going with a beautiful American girl, though he would rather be with another woman. A shy student has fallen in love with a woman older than he is.
