Synchronicity (2015) on Netflix

Plot summary

Physicist Jim Beale and his colleagues Chuck and Matty build a machine that makes time travel possible, opening half of a wormhole on one run and the other half on a second. The process is costly and dangerous and requires radioactive material made by KMC, a company owned by venture capitalist Klaus Meisner. The first test brings a genetically created Dahlia out of the wormhole, but Jim cannot prove the invention works without Meisner's material for another run. Meisner trades that material for 49 percent of the process, and the second test is set for a week later. In the days between, Jim meets Abby Ross, who seems to know more about him than a chance meeting would explain.
