Plot summary
Olivia Crawford and her husband Brian have gone through multiple miscarriages and failed rounds of IVF, and their finances are stretched. Olivia learns she is pregnant with twins. During that round of treatment she meets Anna Ramirez, a restaurateur who is trying to have a child. The two women become friends. When Anna also becomes pregnant, both celebrate and prepare for their babies. Anna suffers a miscarriage, and her marriage to Gabe Ramirez comes apart.
