Plot summary
Priest has worked the streets for Scatter since he was a boy, the mentor who brought him into cocaine dealing. Two girlfriends, Georgia and Cynthia, share his home, and Eddie is the right hand he relies on. At the club where Cynthia strips, Juju of the rival Snow Patrol comes on to her. Learning that she is with Priest, he is furious and goes after him with a gun; the shot misses and hits a bystander. The Snow Patrol members drive away, and Priest pays the victim and sends her to a trauma center. At home that night he decides he never wants to be shot at again, and he tells Eddie he plans to leave dealing behind. Eddie resists, then says he will stand with him. Scatter refuses to help.
