Plot summary
Eileen Landon hosts the Strawberry Festival with her friend Ruth, and her daughter Beth teaches music at the local high school and holds the title of Strawberry Queen. Beth invites country singer Jason Keith to perform at the festival. Jason is a one-hit wonder with a reputation for canceling shows and for his attitude, and Eileen does not consider him a reliable act. Beth defends her favorite singer, and their first meeting shows the job will not be easy. With his manager Ray, Beth argues that the festival stage could bring his career back.
