Spiderhead is a state-of-the-art penitentiary where prisoners of the state volunteer as test subjects for research chemicals, aiming to reduce their sentence time. Steve Abnesti oversees the program. The inmates have their own rooms, do chores and roam the grounds without guards watching them. Daily test runs involve drugs that shift how the subjects feel and what they sense.
