Plot summary
The 2008 financial crisis left Ricky Turner and his wife Abby with debt they have never cleared. Ricky has neither education nor professional training, and his chance comes when Maloney hires him to run a delivery franchise as his own boss. Paying for the van means selling the family car, which Abby uses in her job as a home care nurse. Ricky finds the work stressful, always racing to finish on time and fined for lateness or mistakes. Abby's rounds become much harder without the car, and she is upset at how little time she can spend with her patients. Their son Seb skips school and gets into trouble over his graffiti.
