Plot summary
Meg Rhoads is the survivor of a kidnapping and is trying to readjust to normal life. She travels with her husband, Scott Whitman, to his family's isolated compound on Cape Cod. The story picks up after the events of a traditional slasher story to follow what happens to the survivor. Exposure to his family's unusual dynamics and the history of the town begins to unravel her grip on truth and reality.
