Plot summary
Ben Bentley is 17 and a high school student in Houston. He is open about being gay. Tim Wyman, a popular athlete at the same school, is closeted. A chance encounter brings them together, and they begin a relationship that has to stay hidden. Tim and Ben do not share the same level of comfort with their sexual identities, and the pressure of keeping the relationship a secret weighs on them as their high school years go on.
