Plot summary
April Carson is a television news reporter. Her sister works as a stripper called Gigi Spot and has gone missing. April asks the private investigator Isaac Beaumonde to take the case and find her. While that search is under way, April is given a part in a horror movie, a production directed by Able Whitman. The shoot calls for practical effects and for props, and the filmmaker wants more of them. Beaumonde's case grows deadlier and more grisly as he pursues it.
