Plot summary
Billions are dead, governments have collapsed, and humanity is close to extinction. Dr. Leigh Rozetta, a scientist, has spent the outbreak inside a hidden government bunker, where every attempt to find a cure has failed. She slips out of the facility to head back to her parents' house, and on the way she falls in with Seph and Mckay, two armed survivalists who have just escaped an attack by infected. With night falling, and the SICK more active in the dark, the three need a place to hide. They barricade themselves inside Leigh's parents' house to last until morning, while the SICK gather outside and tensions among them rise.
