Plot summary
Two alien craft crash at Area 51 while chasing each other. A military group sent to the site is killed. Jake Townsend, a former soldier, goes looking for news of his brother, who serves at the base, and comes across Jude, one of the aliens, wounded. Jude explains that a buried weapon has to be found before the other alien, Kronnan, reaches it and uses it against Earth, and that the weapon threatens both Earth and the aliens' own world. Jake joins forces with Monica Gray, his former girlfriend, to hunt for it, while Kronnan and a paramilitary team pursue them.
