Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Shin Kamen Rider (2023)

Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.

Several sequences in Shin Kamen Rider were shot on iPhones, as in Hideaki Anno's Shin Ultraman, with camera movements, lens sizes, angles and zoom timing used to mimic modern cinematic techniques.
Designer Ikuto Yamashita's Cyclone motorcycle was based on a practical vehicle found for the action sequences, after a fully computer-generated bike was rejected over budget and screentime and a modern bike could not match the original's silhouette.
The designers avoided modernizing Kamen Rider's suit because their attempts came too close to earlier reboots such as Kamen Rider: The First and Kamen Rider Black, and kept the 1971 original's overall design with only subtle alterations.
