Plot summary
Victor Gaghan, a scientist at a castle called Eagle Peak in Hollywood, is creating copies of the pop group S Club. The real band arrives in Barcelona for the last concert of a busy tour. After a day of promotion and performance, they look forward to time off. Their manager Alistair tells them they will leave for Los Angeles at seven the next morning. The stressed-out group goes to their hotel rooms, and Gaghan's assistant Susan Sealove abducts Alistair. The next morning the members oversleep and wake to find Alistair gone and his bill unpaid. Rachel finds a credit card, but instead of using it for the bill, they spend it on themselves until they go bankrupt. At a nearby cafe, they watch the cloned S Club perform on television.

- Jo O'Meara was suffering intense back pains while the film was shot, so a body double performed her running shots and the scene for "Dance" had to be re-written after she could not perform the routine. She did a lot of her work as voice-over while her double was chased by Alsatians.
- Seeing Double marked the movie debut of Gareth Gates, and was also the final acting project S Club did with their management company, 19 Management.
