Plot summary

Each year the classic Hollywood monsters come to Count Dracula's castle in Transylvania for the Monster Road Rally, and the winner is named Monster of the Year by the host, Vanna Pira. A postcard arrives from the Wolfman, who has retired to Florida and will not race again. Dracula's manservant knows another way: while the full moon holds the right position, a human can be made a werewolf, three nights running. That human is Shaggy Rogers, lately a race winner with his pit crew, Scooby-Doo, Scrappy-Doo and his girlfriend Googie. Dracula sends his hunchbacked henchmen, Brunch and Crunch, to fetch him. Twice Scooby foils them, but at a drive-in movie on the last night they succeed, and Shaggy is taken to Transylvania. There Dracula explains himself and makes Shaggy an offer: drive in the race, and a win restores him.
