Did you know?!Facts and trivia about It's All Gone Pete Tong (2004)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- The film's title borrows 1980s British rhyming slang in which 'Pete Tong' means 'wrong', a reference to real BBC Radio 1 DJ Pete Tong; English singer Gary Haisman was behind the clubbing catchphrase 'It's all gone Pete Tong' that inspired the film's name.
- The film was shot entirely on location in Ibiza using real nightlife landmarks including Pacha, Amnesia, Privilege and DC10, plus the historic Pike's Hotel and Cala Llonga beach, and was filmed entirely in HD.
- Several real club DJs appear in cameos to lend the fictional story authenticity, including Carl Cox, Fatboy Slim, Tiësto and Paul van Dyk, alongside Pete Tong himself, who also served as the film's executive producer.
- The film was later remade in Hindi by the Indian film director Neerav Ghosh under the title Soundtrack, and that version was released in 2011.
