Rick Ducommun

Biography

Rick Ducommun was a Canadian actor and comedian who worked largely in supporting parts on screen. Born in Prince Albert, he made some of his earliest television appearances in 1984, on Star Search, where he placed second in the comedy category, and in the music video for O'Bryan's song Lovelite, as a technician. His credits also took in the Canadian children's series Zig Zag and the music video show Rock 'N' America, where he was billed as Rick Dukeman, along with film roles including Art Weingartner, the neighbor of Tom Hanks's character, in The 'Burbs (1989), and the monster Snik in Little Monsters (1989). He went on to appear in A Fine Mess (1986), The Experts (1989), The Hunt for Red October (1990), Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990), Class Act (1992), Encino Man (1992), a barfly in Groundhog Day (1993), the chauffeur Henry in Blank Check (1994) and Scary Movie (2000).
