Ned Eisenberg
Biography
Ned Eisenberg was an American actor whose career ranged across film, television, and theater. Born in the Bronx and raised in Riverdale, he trained at the Performing Arts High School and took jazz-dance classes with Betsy Haug. He called himself a street-style actor who learned by working rather than through academic programs. His early screen credits included The Exterminator (1980), The Burning (1981), Moving Violations (1985), and Air America (1990). He also had a leading part in Key Exchange (1985) and toured in the Broadway play Brighton Beach Memoirs. On television he guest-starred on The Equalizer and Miami Vice before starring in The Fanelli Boys. Later he became familiar as defense attorney Roger Kressler on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and he appeared in films such as Last Man Standing (1996), A Civil Action (1998), and Experimenter (2015). He also cofounded the Naked Angels Theatre Company in 1987. He died in 2022.
