Natalie Morales

Biography

American actress and director Natalie Morales was born in Miami and is of Cuban descent. Her first major acting role came in the ABC Family sci-fi dramedy The Middleman, where she played Wendy Watson, and she later appeared in the first season of White Collar and in shows such as Parks and Recreation, Trophy Wife, The Grinder, Abby's, Dead to Me, and The Morning Show. She also had a recurring role as Dr. Monica Beltran on Grey's Anatomy and appeared in the miniseries The Beast in Me. Her directorial debut was the teen comedy Plan B, and she directed and co-wrote the drama Language Lessons (2021) with Mark Duplass; it premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival. She starred in My Dead Friend Zoe (2024), which Variety ranked among the 10 best movies of the year.
