Plot summary
In Los Angeles, a man in a limo offers Tommy Walcott a role in a thirty-day adventure. Tommy accepts and is taken to a warehouse, where a pair of hosts lay out a life-or-death reality game show on the dark web with a prize of one million dollars. The hunters can attack him only when he is alone. His mother and roommate Laurie and his sisters Amy and Mary do not believe the game is real, calling it a trick to avoid closure with Theresa, his former girlfriend. Tommy turns to Craigslist for someone to accompany him.
