Monique Ganderton
Biography
Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Monique Ganderton is a Canadian actor and stunt performer who was working as a model before she turned to film. A modeling agent spotted her at an Edmonton mall, and she soon moved to Toronto, where she studied acting and gained experience as a background performer. Her first acting role, on the television series Mutant X, called for a stunt, and the stunt coordinators she met encouraged her to train as a stunt performer as well. Her first stunt job, on The Recruit, led to further stunt work in films including I, Robot and X-Men 3. Her acting credits include American Ultra (2015), Hansel and Gretel (2013) and X-Men: Apocalypse (2016), as well as the series Smallville, The 100 and Sleepy Hollow. She has stunt doubled performers such as Charlize Theron, Sigourney Weaver and Jane Lynch.
