Plot summary
Under the code name Icarus, Edward Genn spent years as a Soviet-trained assassin and a sleeper agent in America. When the Soviet Union collapsed he was left in a country where he could trust no one, so he took a new identity and started a family; to most people in his life he is a divorced father working for an investment company. A mishap in Hong Kong blows his identity, and he becomes a target. Those who want him dead go after his wife and daughter, and he has to protect them and find out who is after him.

- Samantha Ferris was cast as Kerr, a character originally written for a male actor. Nothing in the script was altered for the change, and Ferris described her character as being "kind [of] half guy, half girl".
