Plot summary
Ben Feld owns Felony Assault, a hardcore hip-hop label whose artist Dr. S has released "Shoot Ya' Teacha," a song the conservative senator Mary Ellen Spinkle attacks in the media. A nationwide protest calling for a boycott of the CD and the label follows, and Ben is hospitalized after a heart attack. His daughter Marci, a wealthy young woman with no knowledge of rap or the record business, takes over the label and tries to soften the rapper's bad-boy image.
