Karen Maruyama

Karen Maruyama is an American actress and comedian who came up through improvisation, performing with The Groundlings and appearing as a guest on the American and British editions of Whose Line Is It Anyway?. Born in Perris, California, she took recurring and supporting roles in sitcoms including Suddenly Susan, Strip Mall, The Jamie Foxx Show and Arrested Development, and she turned up in Curb Your Enthusiasm as a parking lot attendant. Her film credits include The Bucket List (2007), where she played a nurse, and The Campaign (2012), in which she was a housekeeper. She also works as an improv instructor and has toured in Puppet Up! Uncensored, a live stage show from The Jim Henson Company that has played Aspen, Las Vegas, Edinburgh, Sydney and Melbourne. Earlier she was a contestant on the game shows The New $25,000 Pyramid and Body Language, and she appeared as a fashion victim on the makeover show How Do I Look?.
