Plot summary
Jack Bender led an FBI hostage rescue team until he was removed for not being a team player. Months afterward he is traveling on Infinity Air Flight 732, a Lockheed L-1011 of Infinity Air bound from Newark International Airport to Los Angeles, when a group of well-armed and highly trained terrorists seizes the aircraft. The group is led by Greg Gilliad, who demands a billion dollars and warns that a nuclear weapon will be detonated unless the money is paid. With the plane in the terrorists' hands, Bender is one of the people held on board and has to return to work he believed he had left behind.
