Phillip Van Dyke

Biography

Phillip Van Dyke is an American former actor who worked largely in television and is best known for two roles. Born in San Francisco, he played Luke, the goblin in the first two Halloweentown films, Halloweentown (1998) and Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge (2001), and became the voice of Arnold Shortman on Hey Arnold! for its second and third seasons, taking over from Toran Caudell and later handing the part to Spencer Klein. His other work included the title part in the short-lived series Noah Knows Best, a role on The Home Court, a guest spot on Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, an appearance on The Amanda Show, and a turn as a teenage Christopher Hayden on Gilmore Girls. He returned to Hey Arnold! for one-off parts as Ludwig in New Bully on the Block and as Sandy in the Summer Love special.
