Jennifer Grey
Biography
Born in New York City, Jennifer Grey is an American actress who studied dance and acting at the Dalton School and trained for two years at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. She broke through as Jeannie Bueller in Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) and became famous as Baby Houseman in Dirty Dancing (1987), which brought her a Golden Globe nomination. Later films include Bounce (2000), Redbelt (2008), In Your Eyes (2014) and A Real Pain (2024). She played herself in It's Like, You Know..., won season eleven of Dancing with the Stars in 2010, and was Judy Meyers on Red Oaks from 2014 to 2017. She published a memoir, Out of the Corner, in 2022.
