Plot summary
Robert S. Levitt, once the class president, has organized a ten-year high school reunion in downtown Chicago. Kevin MacEldowney, a doctor, comes with Molly, his wife, and their friend Zane Levy, and he does not look forward to the reunion because Pat Prince, who beat him on graduation day, is attending. Zane is a composer, still bitter that a national record label plagiarized a song he wrote. Duncan Shepard has lost his business and sugar-coats his life, while his best friend Clay Mellon, a manic depressive, tries to connect with others. Electra Pollack hopes to find a husband, and her friend Holly Petuto is a book author and self-help therapist who talks about surviving a plane crash. Maria Goldstein is a lonely entrepreneur, and Grace Williams plays practical jokes on anyone who annoys her.
