Herbert Heyes
Biography
Herbert Heyes was an American actor who started on the stage in Portland, Oregon, after his family moved there when he was four. He then joined the Baker Stock Company and first appeared at the Baker Theater in 1908. In 1916 he signed with Fox Films and acted in many silent movies. He also worked in radio beginning in 1923 and pursued business interests during the 1930s. In the 1940s he returned to films, and in the 1950s he took character parts on television. His later film roles included A Place in the Sun (1951) and Park Row (1952), along with The Seven Little Foys (1955). He died in 1958.
