Dorian Missick
Biography
Dorian Missick is an American actor who began in commercials after a casting agent noticed him in his first acting class, then played a young fisherman on In the Heat of the Night in 1990. Born in East Orange, New Jersey, and raised in North Plainfield, he studied with Ernie McClintock's Jazz Actors in Harlem from 1996. He made his film debut in Two Weeks Notice (2002) as Hugh Grant's limo driver, and that exposure led to television work on NYPD Blue, Law and Order and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. A meeting with Denzel Washington helped him land The Manchurian Candidate (2004), and he went on to play Elvis in Lucky Number Slevin (2006) and take his first leading film role in Premium (2006). He is known for playing Damian Henry on Six Degrees and voicing Victor Vance in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, and he later had a recurring role on Luke Cage.
