Casey Wilson
Biography
Casey Wilson is an American actress, comedian, and screenwriter who came up through improvisational and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Raised in Alexandria, Virginia, she studied acting at New York University and the Stella Adler Studio before joining the cast of NBC's Saturday Night Live in 2008, spending two seasons on the show, where she did celebrity impressions and original characters. She then played Penny Hartz on the ABC sitcom Happy Endings, a role that brought her two nominations from the Critics' Choice Television Awards in the supporting actress in comedy category. Her films include supporting parts in Gone Girl (2014), Julie & Julia (2009), and The Meddler (2015), and she co-wrote and starred in Ass Backwards (2013), which premiered at Sundance. On television she also starred in The Hotwives, Marry Me, and Black Monday, and she co-hosts the podcast Bitch Sesh.
