Andreas Katsulas

Andreas Katsulas, born in St. Louis in 1946, worked in film and television and was best known for two science fiction roles. He trained in theater at Indiana University Bloomington, earning a master's degree, then spent 1971 to 1986 touring with Peter Brook's International Theatre Company in improvisational and prepared pieces. Early television work included the daytime drama Guiding Light in 1981 and 1982. He played the Narn ambassador G'Kar as a regular on Babylon 5 from 1994 to 1998, and Commander Tomalak, a Romulan, on Star Trek: The Next Generation. His movie credits included The Fugitive (1993), as the one-armed villain Fredrick Sykes, plus Someone to Watch Over Me (1987), The Sicilian (1987), Sunset (1988), Next of Kin (1989), Executive Decision (1996) and Hot Shots! Part Deux.
