Al Snow
Biography
Al Snow is the ring name of Allen Ray Sarven, an American professional wrestler born in Lima, Ohio, whose best-known work came in Extreme Championship Wrestling and in the World Wrestling Federation, later WWE. After attending a tryout camp, he trained under Jim Lancaster and debuted in 1982, spending years on the independent circuit. Early WWF appearances as a jobber and as the masked Shinobi led to Leif Cassidy, his tag team role in the New Rockers, before a 1997 return to ECW, where a mannequin head became part of his act. He won the WWF European Championship and six Hardcore Championships, and he and Mankind held the WWF Tag Team Championship. He has also run Ohio Valley Wrestling since 2018, and that work was chronicled in the Netflix docuseries Wrestlers. He coached on Tough Enough, and his film credits include Overtime (2011) and Lake Eerie (2016).
