Rock Camp: The Movie (2021) on Netflix

Plot summary

Since 1996, Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy Camp has taken amateur players in New York, Los Angeles and other cities into several days with professional musicians. The documentary follows a group of attendees who arrive to learn from and jam with headliners such as Roger Daltrey, Alice Cooper, Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Nancy Wilson, Joe Perry, Jeff Beck and Slash, the counselors who teach and play alongside them. It also traces founder David Fishof's path from sports agent to music producer and the creation of the camp, and follows campers who carry their own goals and obstacles, among them disability and a return to music.
