Plot summary
Jodie A'Dale and his brother Hazel want a video game that sits in a nearby warehouse, and with their friend Alice they get their hands on it. At home the game will not start, because none of the three knows the password for the television. Their mother trades the password for a blueberry pie, and the town pie-maker has none to sell, so the children copy her recipe and set out after the ingredients. The eggs are gone from the shop, and the last carton leaves with John Redrye, a man from the Enchanted Blade Gang. The three follow him to the house where that gang gathers, led by Anna-Freya Hollyhock, possibly a witch.
